The story of Allentronics starts with Jack Allen over 7 years ago. Throughout his formative years, Jack was taking a particular interest in knowing how things work. From toys to retired electronics, Jack was disassembling and inspecting every detail of its construction. It was this attention to detail and passion for engineering that led Jack to start a business and share his passion with the world. 

After initial success and building a small following, Jack expanded into electronic components distribution, establishing the electronics division of Allentronics, creating, and selling simple electronics kits for individuals. At 15, he ventured into 3D printing, offering manufacturing solutions worldwide. His services covered security alarm controls, car parts, food manufacturing, hobbyist upgrades, and marine parts. During COVID-19, Allentronics provided 3D printed face shields during a nationwide PPE shortage, showcasing 3D printing's adaptability and reliability in times of crisis and change.

Throughout 2019 and 2020, in partnership with the South Gippsland and Bass Coast LLEN, Jack ran several 3D printing workshops for students from 10-15 years old. These students learned the fundamentals of 3D printing and gained hands-on experience in problem-solving, product design and mechanical engineering, By sharing his passion and drawing from his own firsthand experience in engineering and entrepreneurship, it is hoped that students who attend Jack’s classes are inspired to continue developing these important and limitless skills in their school years through to their professional careers.

Today, 19-year-old Jack continues running Allentronics and still provides services world-wide, while studying both a Degree in Advanced Manufacturing and Mechatronics Engineering and a Degree in International Business at RMIT University in Melbourne.
